Sketches - Some of My Favorite Animations

(Sorry the pictures aren't the best - my scanner's broken or something so I had to take photos.....)

I loved the Animaniacs when they came on television. I loved all the mischief they got into and the jokes they played on others. My favorite is Wacko, on the bottom.

Another of my favorite characters growing up has always been Garfield. (I especially love Pooky, his teddy bear.) I love his attitude - and his appetite. I love eating, too. (I decided to try sketching him with a calligraphy pen.)

A show I grew up with was Rainbow Brite. She is an interesting character to look at. I really enjoy kids' shows, if you haven't noticed already....

One of my other favorite shows was Pinky and the Brain. Though I loved both characters my favorite was Pinky - the weirder - and dumber - of the two to say the least; somehow I always like those kinds of characters the most.....

Another of my most loved characters is Maleficent. I have always enjoyed the story and drawings of the older Disney movies. I really loved watching the end on some of my tapes where they show the animators and how they did certain things - like watching live models and things to recreate it on the cells to make the characters and objects more realistic. A lot of time and effort went into those movies and I have always admired and looked to that. My favorite of the "princess movies" has forever been "Sleeping Beauty", though not because of the the princess, Aurora in this case, like normal kids. I loved Maleficent, and still do. Ever since I was young I have wondered at dinosaurs and loved dragons. They fascinate me still, which is a huge reason why I love Maleficent, not to mention she is, in my opinion, the most evil of all Disney villians - she is evil for no apparent reason. Jafar had jealousy, Ursula was greedy and wanted vengeance for being exiled, and so on. Though I am not evil and I do not condone the things she stands for, she is still my favorite all-time character.
